I think we should all be very proud that on a football messageboard, we have a bitter argument raging about the direction in which water flows down a hole.

because they made me picture people sprinting to the toilet and flushing before looking quizzically (sp?) at the flow and trying to work out which way clockwise would be and then what that would look like upside down.

Hurricane Ivan is now being reported as a category 5 with wind speeds increasing to 165mph, death toll now stands at 56. It is now on route towards the Cayman Islands and Cuba.

The winds may have dropped but its still full of rain

I've kept an "eye" on the hurricanes for the past couple of weeks as my sister and her best friend have gone to Florida, her best friend is Hanna, luckily it looks like it will miss them, although Ike may not next week.

Hopefully IKE will do what HANNA did and move slightly away from its predicted path, the hurricane force winds are still predicted to just miss though

Check again at 1pm as the webite is updated every 3 hours.

The 2am (7am UK ) forecast had it tracking slightly east of Florida, but at 10am it had it heading for the middle.

Hopefully ( for Florida ! ) it will stay on a W/NW heading & go into the Gulf of Mexico.

Yeah fellow palarce hater, the main season should be over by the end of October & the worse ones usually finished by the end of September.

It has / will be a bad season this year, been pretty quiet in Florida for the last 3 so we were due a bad one !

I hope it's over in October as we'll be in Florida in mid November !
