I used to have friends that were always on here contributing, they said it is now dominated from the same old few now, hence their rare posts in the past couple of years.
I hope this feedback helps and may add some more diversity in the future.

Oh, I say.

Boys, if you don't want to read someone's posts put them on ignore.

You know that pub that everyone enjoyed, the atmosphere, pool table, darts board, live bands and girls using the men's toilets, well that what my friends said it was like...until a new management company took over, removed the darts, pool table, bands and made a bigger girls toilet. But worse still... Dave, Gary, Steve and Kevin, grabbed the bar stools as if they were sun loungers around a benidorm pool.

It’s balanced by the introduction of the ‘ignore thread’ button, which is fantastic 😁
The "Ignore Thread" is beautiful.

No politics threads at all - and I'm not annoying those who love that kind of thing, I just don't see it. Like uninteresting ships in the night, they silently steam into the distance without me on board.

There was a time when favourite sandwiches, least favoured Estate Agents etc ruled this place, now it seems "overrun" by a few self-obsessed posters who are permanently posting, on every single thread, 24/7. Is this a good thing? It turns me off big time your thoughts?

For what it's worth, which even i admit is very little, I've always enjoyed your posts back in the day. More not less please.

I'm sure the grammar police will be along to say fewer.

What exactly are you complaining about, the thread subjects are no longer inane enough or that several posters just keep posting. If it's the former then I think it's a good thing there are more threads of substance (along with the inane stuff). If it's the latter, then ignore those threads. Personally, at this current time, ie we're managerless, the country is in a mess, the world is heading for doomsday and we have an election looming, I enjoy the more cerebral discussions.

I pipe up fairly regularly, so could easily be one of those referred to. I won’t be too badly hurt if you put me on ignore.

I mean, I might mope around the house for a few days, be off my food, write and then burn some frankly appalling poetry. I am human.

However, I like to feel that with your judicious use of the ignore button, and my near endless supply of over verbose facetiousness, we can get through this. Not together, but apart.

Au revoir dear stranger, au revoir.

But then you see all the posters you have on ignore - that’s how I saw this one.

Tbf though, when one poster is routinely posting over 50 posts a day across multiple threads, I can see why that might piss some people off. Doesn’t bother me, I mostly avoid the British political threads tbh (I tend to be obsessed with one thread at a time anyway - so people can just ignore the whole thread, one at a time 😂)
It’s a good job your average is around 47 then 😆

No need to apologise.

I enjoy posts by yourself and @afters too.

(and I put Stabro on ignore, not because he isn't interesting and entertaining, but because he can get a bit weird and it stresses me out. My neurodiversity. No complaints because we have the ignore facility. At no extra charge  )

Anyone can post on here and as long as the moderators are happy, we can all have fun.
