I've never understood what people see in The Shawshank Redemption. I really didn't think it was that good. I'd probably forget about it completely if people didn't keep bleating on about it being the best movie ever made.
It was based on a Stephen King novel wasn't it? I hate Stephen King. There isn't a single decent movie based on one of his books and Shawshank is no exception.
