Americas A- Managed by Gus Poyet
The pre-tournament favourites are absolutely frothing at the mouth with talent but it is always possible that manager Gus Poyet could storm out of a match at any moment. Nonetheless there is talent throughout this well balanced squad that contains a genuine World Cup winner alongside a player who was sold for over £100m. Their goalkeeper is possibly the weak link and could cost them later in the tournament. These guys breezed through the first round without breaking sweat. Could complacency be their downfall?

GK: David Gonzalez- This ponytailed Colombian lothario played 4 games for the Albion in 2012. He has been capped twice by the Colombian national side
RB: Gonzalo Jara Reyes- This Chilean psychopath has two loan spells at the Amex in 2011 and 2012. He has been capped a monumental 115 times by Chile
CB: Igor- This Brazilian hunk is a current Albion player and when he's not in the club surrounded by honeys he's playing a vital role in Albions defence.
CB: Bernardo- This Brazilian left back played for the Albion between 2018 and 2021 when the Albion distracted him from what appears to be an unhealthy obsession with Red Bull.
LB: Pervis Estupinan- This Ecuadorian is possibly the best Left Back in the Premier League right now
CM: Alexis Mac Allister- World Cup winner played for Brighton between 2019-2023 and is a bona fide club legend. He has also been capped 21 times by the Argentinian national team
CM: Moises Caicedo- Before slithering off to Chelsea like a snake, this Ecuadorian midfielder was one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League
CM: Steven Alzate- Fan favourite, this London born Colombian international is as versatile as a Swiss Army knife.
FW: Julio Enciso- Cheeky chappy who is capable of the spectacular, this Paraguayan has bags of potential
FW: Leonardo Ulloa- This Argentinian big man had an excellent goalscoring record for the Albion before leaving for Leicester.
FW: Joao Pedro- This Europa League penalty banger is currently impressing after his big money move from Watford.

Wales- Managed by Nathan Jones (player manager)
Nathan Jones brings a talented side to Withdean. One thing that goes in favour is their squad depth and balance which could see them squeeze into the second round. There is goals in this side too with Saunders and Nogan forming a mouth watering front two. Nathan "Jonesy" Jones' men caused quite the upset, getting past a much fancied Dutch side to progress to the Quarter Finals.
GK: Mark Walton- Walton was probably beyond his best by the time he moved to Brighton in 1998 but he went on to play 58 times before returning to his homeland (Cardiff)
RB: Eric Young- Born in Singapore, this defender played 21 times for the Welsh national team as well as a whopping 126 times for Brighton between 1982 and 1987
CB: Joel Lynch- Lynch was a cultured defender annoyingly shunned by Mickey Adams before enjoying a successful second tier career. He played 1 game for Wales
CB: Ed Turns- Current exciting defensive prospect is the captain of the Welsh U-21 national team
LB: Nathan Jones- Loudmouth and usually poorly haired left sided player. Jones was a hardworking left back or left winger who had a trick or two up his sleeve. Jones played 159 times for Brighton and later managed the side as caretaker manager in 2014
RM: John Robinson- Robinson came through the ranks at Brighton, playing 62 times before enjoying a sterling career at Charlton. Played 30 times for Wales.
CM: Andrew Crofts- Enjoyed THREE spells at the Albion including periods as captain. Crofts was a hard working midfield maestro and a good leader. Played 29 times for Wales and is currently a well respected coach at the club.
CM: Robbie Savage- Spent most of his time at the club in his hotel suite pleasuring himself and was definitely way beyond his best by the time of his short loan spell. The only Brighton player to have appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, he played 39 times for Wales (that can't be right?!)
LM: Peter O'Sullivan- This club legend played a monumental 435 times for Brighton and played 3 times for Wales.
CF: Dean Saunders- Probably is better known for his career elsewhere but this goal machine played 72 games for Brighton, scoring 21 goals, He also played 75 games for the Welsh national team and is considered to be one of the best Welsh forwards of all time
CF: Kurt Nogan- Nogan was undoubtedly one of the brightest sparks of Albion's 1990's, banging in 49 goals in 97 games.
