Not me I'm afraid HKFC. I wish it was, they got the music so right and the artwork is brilliant. Top santa
OK then. It must be someone I suspected, but couldn't believe they would have gone to so much trouble. He doesn't even support the Albion. Still, probably wrong again, but I feel that only he is dogged enough to have done this.....

I'm almost inclined to agree with you, but surely the Cliftonville pic and Worthing Herald are too... obscure(?) or too local for someone up north who isn't an Albion fan?

I discounted Staly immediately because of the reason Flex states, and also because it's all a bit SOFT for him.

I think it might be one of the many Simons on the thread; this year's host and organiser, Theatre of Trees.

That might be right - another Bandcamp fan. And geographically makes more sense.
Well, exactly - I couldn't believe he reads Ernest threads, but, on music alone, I thought it was slightly more Staly than SHC because SHC would have drawn anything great to our attention. Staly loves trawling Bandcamp, plus it would have been too obvious if he'd done a C86 style compilation of obscure stuff - you already have the Lawrence and the Comfortable Society track - so I can imagine him ploughing a 60s girl group/chanteuse/guitary kind of furrow, with special attention paid to ny Sussex bands. Plus his previous artwork has been superb, and he does nothing all day at Manchester University library (he alleges). Still, I could be completely erong, but whoever did it has really put the effort in - a round of applause to them!
Not me, not me. I have no idea who Harty is, and I haven't heard of half of the people on that CD. Nice pen portrait though, I think...
That is also the (third) conclusion I'd come to. Theatre of Trees ? Thank you, so much.
Third time lucky, it was me. Glad you liked it.
Like to think of the Postmark's song as the best Bond theme that never was, a conclusion somebody else has reached as they've stuck the song on the opening credits of Casino Royale:

Interestingly never released as a single, Go Jet Setter, being preferred, see:

Unfortunately the band has been on hiatus since 2009.
The Cherry Glazerr track is my current favourite of that lot, their LP Haxel Princess is worth a look, and as you say very young, the girl on the drums and the singer and main songwriter started the year aged 16 and 17 respectively. I also like the fact that they describe themselves as a pop band.
