That is the worry to be fair. I'll keep a copy on a local hard drive as well as iCloud - if I can be arsed to get involved

So is this iCloud only for iproducts and compatible media files? Bit limited the idea of the cloud is to open up the world and expand through pay as you need storage, will there be a charge for this as no other cloud provider is offering free storage? From an a Apple point of view I can see their advantages with tieing you into their world but its too limited for me.
