I think you may have this wrong;
a) a Degree is higher than a Diploma - i have both in business studies - did it part time as a mature studen - awared Dip HE after 3 years and BA(Hons) after 5 years - ie extra 2

Also a PHD is a Doctorate

You could have put BTEC certs & dips and City & Guilds between Degree & A Levels too

not that i'm not one of them

or perhaps brighton is simply the thinking man's football team?
