Yes Mr Bear, and it wasn't by design! It was a much fatter price when I selected it. But I guess better an 11/4 winner than a 33/1 loser. So I'm only a little embarrassed by the small price.

The first race tomorrow is the 13:50 at Newton Abbot.

Pontefract’s first fixture of the year is under threat after 15mm of rain left the ground heavy, and with more expected officials have arranged a check at 6.30am.

Newton Abbot, where a 7am inspection will take place, is also worried about what the evening might bring, with heavy rain forecast in the area. The course was described as soft, heavy in places on Monday afternoon.
