NSC Crashing my Laptop

This morning I'm finding NSC unusable on my work laptop. Every time it locks up Internet Explorer after maybe a minute or two (sometimes less).

The most recent attempts brought up the following ads

Frankie and Bennys - top of page. (no idea what was at the bottom as the screen froze)

Miss Saigon tickets - also at the top

Stay Sure insurance - bottom of page.

For me it's not so much the ads directly as all the cookies that come with them. A quick load of this page gave me the following cookies (truncated because my screen isn't large enough)

NSC is totally unusable on my work laptop now. It locks up all ie sessions within seconds of opening the page.

I'm on my phone now, BTW, running Chrome

I've turned off most of the ads and pages are rendering amazingly quickly for me now.
