A mild cheddar to open, maybe a Red Leicester to partner.

I may be a Europhile, but Johnny Foreigner does not do cheese like us.

Well, Brie, maybe. Oh, and Gouda. In fact, cheesy folk on NSC must be enjoying the tour of Europe. A tie in Italy in the next round and they bless-ed indeed they shall be.

Cheddar as extra extra mature as possible the best all rounder

From our French cousins,

A nice bit of comte in the middle and the best blue for me is Roquefort.

Always a guaranteed score

As I write i feel the red wine and cheese calling!
Oh, white wine, dear boy. White wine.

Stilton in a sandwich with mango chutney, likewise Brie and Cranberry or strong Cheddar in nice granary bread with a home made apple chutney

White, red, port or Sauternes depends on the cheese. Tsk.

I’m clearly going to have to bid for skipper at the AGM.
There is a vacancy.

But I only drink white (although realistically I have been tee-total for some time now). Red wine, all I got from that was a thumping headache.

Reckon Stinking Bishop has to be a pick for one of the bowlers packing a helluva punch to proceedings

There were some great cheese emporia in the Dam offering loads of free samples
My 'comedy gold' catch phrase to Jnr was:-

"oh look, do you want some cheese?"

Every time we passed such an establishment.
