Was waiting to see this all day but was terribly disappointed. Even allowing for the jumping about of locations I thought some of the dialogue was embarassing and just not believable. Merging it with quadrophenia was the last straw. Couldn't even watch it to the end. Wished I'd stayed up for Charlie Varrick now

Phil Davis (Chalky/Spicer) had his own scooter in Quadrophenia but had to ride pillion in Brighton Rock.
