Aren't they refusing to play a couple of their players because it would activate clauses in their contracts that give them new contracts, yet they are willing to sign liam lawrence. I'd be a bit miffed if I had shown loyalty to a club that had missed payments in the past, that was cutting staff across the board and refusing to play me because they can't afford my new contract, while simultaneously bragging about signing a player they couldn't afford in the first place, according to their own wage structure.
