Over the summer there was a lot of debate about the need for patience for our team to come together vs bed wetting. When we made multiple signings very quickly a lot of people got excited. Now that we are well into the season what score would we give for the newcomers?

Here are mine -but I'm mainly judging from watching highlights and reading comments. I can't get to enough games!

Holla. 6
Teixeira. 6
Toko. 2
Stockdale. 3
O'Grady. 4
Baldock. 5
McCourt. 6
Hughes. 5
Bennett 5
Gardner 6
Colunga. 5

So above 5, better than expected and below, worse?

Holla. 7 Despite a bad game yesterday.
Teixeira. 6 However yesterday was worrying and if he can get put off his game by aggressive tactics his stock will fall
Toko. 5 Don't see how we can rate him anything other than average when he hasn't been given a chance
Stockdale. 3 Still giving him a chance to rise but got to stop these mistakes every game
O'Grady. 4
Baldock. 3 More of a disappointment than O'Grady so far
McCourt. 6
Hughes. 5
Bennett 6 Again yesterday was worrying though
Gardner 4 Thought he'd be better than this
Colunga. 4 As above

Two weeks off had a detrimental effect on the team, most were lacklustre, tired and what is it with JFC bellyaching at other players?

Is it because he is an England superstar now and can tell ordinary club players what they are doing wrong? Just asking.

Holla. - started well, but seems to have gone backwards in the system and Hyypia's coaching
Teixeira - Has to be better than what we have seen given that some Liverpool fans thought he would be challenging for their first team
Toko. - Oscar wanted him back in January, just can't see him being that bad that he can't even make the bench
Stockdale - Hull 1st choice when they went up, former England squad member, Fulham fans didn't want him to leave. Being left exposed by the formation
O'Grady - Really not sure
Baldock - Far too early
McCourt - What can you say, likes a dribble
Hughes - Not seen enough
Bennett - No idea what he is like defending but does like to get forward
Gardner - expected more, but the formation is not helping him
Colunga - Seem to be struggling, early days though. Not sure what his position is

All in all the players are being let down by the formation/style
