Yes and in today’s market £70/80 m .

Fair enough, I think that's possible, I guess the question is more about who put the bid in, if it's a London club (Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal) I'd say his head would be turned but I can't see him going overseas and I can't see those clubs matching his current wages, so based on that I'd say he'll see out his career at Palace?

Dougie do you think you'll keep Mr Tumble and, if not, what do you really think his value is?

Why ask Dougal. The guy is a total melt.

Suffice it to say...Palace WILL keep Zaha because...I’ll repeat...Palace have ADDED the 25% sell on fee to their asking price because they cannot accept that getting him back from Utd for peanuts and having the benefit of his “skill” for the last few years is actually payment enough for his services. Parish has managed to convince himself that they are somehow down on the deal because they will have to surrender the part of his fee to Man United when he moves on...That part of his fee was money they didn’t have , or didn’t want to pay when they “bought” him back.

Look at it this way. I buy a car on finance. I pay £6 grand for a £10 grand car but agree, when I sell it, to give the seller the balance out of its resale price.

When I come to sell it I don’t want to give the £4K I owe to the original vendor because I’m a tit. I put the car on Autotrader for £14k so I can pay the £4K back AND keep the full £10k the car is actually worth. Unsurprisingly no-one want to pay the £14k for a £10k car so it sits in the garage resenting me until, eventually, it falls to bits.

But hey...at least I’ve not had to pay back that £4 grand.

I think you might be correct.

My view is that he is an great talent, at Palace he can more or less play where he wants being by far the most skillful player, I just cant see a top 6 team wanting or letting him have that free role, not only that Players like Zaha and even your own Knoheart (sp) can have 2 or 3 games when it just doesn't work for them but they are still first on team sheet next game, that might not happen at a top team.I can only really see Arsenal wanting him TBH or if he goes abroad PSG or such like.

But going back to the OP, yes Palace are a selling club and always will be...I mean 50 million for a 21 year old whos played 1.5 seasons I think even Mr Bloom would take that !

( It still baffles me that a Right or left back can be worth that much, if there is any position on the football pitch you can hide a weak player its those two positions)

This is my favourite bit.

A sad little 2015 Audi A3, sitting in the dark with only 35,000 miles on it. It's best years still ahead of it, but it's going nowhere. Just revving it's little heart out every time you walk past, shaking your head.

You just know that little A3 is going to somersault spectacularly through the air every time it comes near another car. It then sits in the lay-by with its little hazards flashing away until it gets a massive insurance pay out for you for whiplash or some other imaginary injury.

Lovely.

I’ve just checked how much Palace payed for Zaha to return from United in 2015. The source of their laughable attempt to force them to waive the Zaha 25% sell on clause as part of the Obi Wan deal.

Without looking (cubs honour) try and remember just how much they payed to bring him back.

The only clue is that they Sold him for £10 million. When you see the answer you will marvel at Parish’s front in trying to weasel out of the resale agreement. What an omnishambles that club is.

Go.

Ok based on ToW's two posts there, I'm going to go £3m and the use of Moyes' A8 for two weekends a year.

Edit: Fluked it. :)

3 million. 3 million pounds. He was worth a shed load more than that even then.

And STILL. The cheeky buggers want their 25% sell on wiped off. Whichever way they cut it they stand to make an absolute killing but no...the pikey shysters want MORE.

If I was Dwayne I’d be going on strike about now.

What else would you expect from the bunch of lying thieving SPIVS and DINLOWS who run that shabby rotting carcass of a football club.
