They should have asked me. When I parked my car at Withdean at midday I knew the game would be off. I walked to the bus stop at the bottom of Carden Avenue to get a bus into town for our office Christmas bash and the place was a skating rink. I walked onto the park by the bus stop and the ground was frozen solid. It was noticably colder at Withdean then in Brighton itself. Still I ventured into town had a great meal then met footy mates to drink away the evening as the game was put out of its misery at 6.30pm. We all said the game would be called off as soon as the covers were removed properly.

My prediction for the Christmas fixtures are
Dagenham - OFF
Charlton - on and a 1-1 draw
Orient - on and a 2-1 win
Exeter - on a 3-3 draw

So at the moment we have rearrange

Colchester - 25th Jan

and now need new dates for
Notts County (home)
Yeovil (away)

If we beat Pompey in the cup we will also need to move Dagenham (home)

Not too bad at the moment as ver few planned midweek matches from Jan to the end of the season (just Orient (a), Brentford (a)and Colchester (Easter Monday away) from the original fixture list ) plus now Colchester (h) and Notts County (h) and Yeovil (a)

People are so bloody self-serving (or selective) when they quote facts on NSC. Driver8 you have been OWNED.

The headline on Seagulls world (their caps) was ”Game ON” Had I been wavering that would have made my mind up. I'm not being critical of anyone just saying why County supporters may have decided to make the trip.
