But who do we play there, our recruitment team only care about attackers. Bloom only cares about attacking play.

We're unlucky with injuries at left-back. We have Estupinan, Kadioglu and cover from Hinshelwood and Lamptey. There's not too much wrong with the squad. There's a lot wrong with the lack of a workable plan or organisation. In my view, it's mainly because we have so many good individual talents that we've picked up some decent results - we've rarely put a good move together.

How do central midfielders like O'Riley and Gomez feel when they can't get a game in this sickness crisis with a forward playing instead? How have we managed to ostracise a talent like Enciso so quickly with Ferguson potentially going the same way? What happened to the same players that were so confident and calm playing out from the back under Potter and De Zerbi but now play kick and rush?

I want to see whether Fab can get anything from our lads at half time, and they can respond.
All he needs to do is tell them he's resigning.

I wasn't too optimistic about back-to-back games against Chelsea before this. Now I'm dreading it.

And then Southampton, where you know we'll gift them at least a point.
