We are so wasteful and in this incredibly competitive competition, we cannot afford to miss opportunities. I live for the day that Mac Allistair shoots accurately, when it's not a penalty shot. In all seriousness, the club needs to find a way to get into the heads of the players. Hypnotherapy maybe?

I’m pretty sure lessons have been learned by RDZ, I expect our line up Saturday to be something like (assuming no Ferguson, Lallana, Moder)

Steele
Veltman, Van Hecke, Webster, Colwill
Ayari, Gilmour
Buonanotte Enciso Mitoma
Welbeck

A bold line up. No judgement from me. Who’s your captain?

Disappointing result to wake up to but not entirely unpredictable.

Rest, recover and go again hopefully with more energy against Wolves. That'll be a game where the crowd will be important. If the players are flagging you need to carry them over the line.

It certainly has to be something like that (with our big guns on the bench); especially Gilmour needs be in now, or we may as well send the lad down the job centre 🤷‍♂️

If we started the season with this team we would be fighting relegation

a few observations

Steele - very acrobatic isn’t he . Goals against him always seem to look better by the way he dives . I prefer Sanchez

Dunk - a lot of misplaced passes and the pen was just one of those

Caicedo - as good as he was Sunday , that was a bad performance .

Enciso - plenty to like first half but again went missing

Buanaette ( sp) - didn’t really notice him , could be because off the pace but maybe being harsh

Mitoma - had forest on toast first half , less effective 2nd half again though

As good as we were I thought the warning signs were there from some of their first half chances . Was that a pen by estupinan ? Yeah his arm touched him but couldn’t see any other contact .
Needed to get a 2nd when we were so on top. That conceded goal was shit luck but forest prob argue they deserved to be on score sheet .

2nd half was a shit show . Heads seemed to drop at 2-1 which was a concern .

Wolves massive . Can’t help thinking we are due a bad run of form but come out guns blazing and win and things all good again .

Stick together !!!

Worth noting that forest now have a better home record than Chelsea this season and are 12th in the home table. They recently drew with man city at home and also beat Liverpool at home. They're bad but not THAT bad.

They need to take a leaf out of the Forest fans last night. In the second half really backed their team.

As for us it really felt that Sunday took it out of us . There’s a shocking stat about FA semi finalists losing the next game.

Disappointing but just one game, still loads to play for

De Zerbi was very pragmatic after the game which was good to see. We were running on empty for most of the second half and that very lucky and very late equaliser in the first half did for us.

I doubt we’ll be up to speed again for Wolves, I imagine the exertions of Sunday, coupled with the gut wrenching way we lost has affected the squad quite badly. So many normally reliable players off the pace and mentally exhausted last night.

Onwards and Upwards

Think Estupiñan tripped him, looked an ok decision to me - it only happened because he dithered on the ball and then tried to recover - problem was of his own making. Re heads dropping, I think we just had nothing left in the tank, and at the same time they were properly fired up.

I'm not.going t hammer our players as they've been great all season and a few of them out on their feet. There was possibly argument for even greater rotation really especially one of Mac or caicedo to come out.

Just wanted to give a bit of credit to Forest. A team fighting for their lives with a mad squad foisted on the manager by the owner but despite their limitations they stuck together, carried a threat and pressed until the end. Didn't go under when they were in the Brighton possession washing machine in the 1st half. And the atmosphere sounded great, every man woman and child in the ground behind them. A club that has fallen on harder times of late but with pedigree. I hope they stay up.

Sometimes fate conspires, you have to say fair fùcks and move on. We'll still be 5th if we win our remaining 2 games in hand.

On a wider nite I thought solly looked good and played with his head up which was good to see.

Fair play to the Forest fans, they really got behind their team last night, it made a difference.

As for us just a tired performance, tired bodies and minds. The injuries we have are really starting to bite regarding squad rotation, we really need Lallana, Lamptey, Ferguson etc back and playing soon.

Nottingham is a nice city.

Proper old skool football ground with some decent pubs nearby

Shame about the result, but WOW that was a real football experience - Forest fans were incredible. The noise levels were amazing pretty much the whole game. Don’t think I’ve seen/heard better. And I’ve probably been to over 1,000 BHA games.

As a club I think they do lots of good things….pre-match big screen stuff about how refugees need our support, pro-LGBTQI messages, trying to be a carbon-neutral club.

Fans all seemed very friendly.

And Nottingham is a great city.

Really hope they stay up.

I was really really surprised they scored from a deflection never seen that before 🤣
A game to soon Caciedo was spent early doors trouble with the system is it relies heavily on Mac and Caciedo so impossible to change them out really without a total collapse.
Think Sanchez possibly saves us Steele is wank at shot stopping.

I just cannot in a month of Sundays see that happening. Veltman hopefully will be back, allowing Gross to return to the middle, and fully expect Mac Alister, Caicedo and Estupinan to be playing unless they have knocks. He'd have to lock Dunk in a cupboard somewhere for him not to start. Think the manager will allow the players to get back on track rather than resting a load of them. Hopefully one of Welbeck / Ferguson is fit to start.

Robert Sanchez, or Lev Yashin or Gordon Banks or Luigi Buffon or Manuel Neuer, is not saving any of those Forest goals
