Nothing against McNulty, but why does everyone on here rave about him so much???

Just can't figure it out... He only played 5 games for the Albion, during which 11 goals were conceded. I know he's gone through hell having his kidney removed and we should all support him, but is there any other reason that people on here rave about him so much?

Still glad to have him back on the pitch though as he does look a good player.

In the games he played he looked the most commited player on the pitch.

He also has a strong relationship with the fans, always comes over at the end of a game and applauds them (first one there and always the last to leave).

Anyone who witnessed his silky dribbling against whoever it was we were playing at the time, wouldn't need to ask why he's so popular.

I think it's safe to say he's a very rare thing on NSC, a player everyone rates. I'm yet to find anyone who doesn't think really highly of him, and rightly so.

People were talking about him as a quality player before he was injured. He was the best Albion player on the pitch in each of the games he played and looked a fantastic signing. His return is fantastic news although he is a fair way from match fit I would think.

You can't figure out why people rave about him, but at the same time say you're glad to have him back on the pitch as he does look good.

If you saw him play in all those games then it's blindingly obvious why people rave about him.
He was the best player on the pitch up at millwall - I said to my mates what an absolute steal 150k was. Add to this his enthusiasm and he plays with a smile on his face what's not to like?
Great to see him back in the blue and White stripes today (not that I was there).

He's so good that SSN credited our second goal to him tonight, despite not coming on till 20 mins after it went in. That's one reason.

Others include his commitment during the few matches he played, his skill on the ball, the fact that every one of his passes (short and long rang) hit the target, the fact that even though he was obviously in serious pain he still didn't want to look like a woos (is that how you spell it) and walked of the pitch and of course the short sleeves with gloves combo.

I loved him the moment he signed. For me to like a player it isn't just about how good they are, but the whole package.

And he has the whole package!

Which chant is better:

Oh Jimmy Mac, Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Mac etc. (a la Gary Hart)

or

There's only one Jim McNulty

**Both were attempted today at Scunny**

Also, after the game today his dad was handing out some of his training jumpers, my little cousin got one.

His dad said that jim got some at ht and told him to hand them out to the crowd. Quality bloke and a fantastic player.

I hope Mcnulty is with us when we run out at Falmer, a stern quality player that we need to guide us back to where we belong in the Championship.
