Bought my train tickets. Live in London so worst case scenario is that the £15 I spent was wasted, but the full price is £26 so not the end of the world. Can even go for £19 if I fancy a train which goes slower than I can walk!

Bully for you!

I suspect it is completely beyond the wit of you but younger may not go dependant on school next day and also whether wanting to play footie or not.

It was more the fact that no one other yourself and whoever you are getting tickets for gives a flying f*** about when you put your application in!

And if you are not going to take your son/daughter because s/he has school the next day then you are a bad parent and you shouldn't be surprised when s/he fucks off to go and watch Chelsea/Arsenal/Spurs/Palace*

*might have gone a little far there

When I saw the announcement on the Villa website i did wonder why we've not published anything. Had a quick look on the 'fixtures' tab on seagulls.co.uk and it shows the Villa game as Saturday 23rd @ 3pm.

I'm holding fire on train tix as got to book for 9 people and know it'll be a pain getting the money if the game is moved!

Because our official site is pretty average at getting updated comparatively to other teams.

Also Villa aren't going to arrange the game with the bloke in the ticket office are they!! It's no wonder he knew nothing about it when the doofus went in the club shop. If Villa say it's going to be on Saturday, given that they are hosting the game it'll be on Saturday!

If it does change now, there's going to be a lot of very unhappy train ticket holders. All of who will blame the club, despite them having NOT announced a date yet.

I wish they'd hurry up mind - I want to book a hotel, innit.

I recently stayed at the rotunda; 18 floors over birmingham with opening windows; cool! next door to New St station great for the shops as well; link below

I spent Sunday evening trying to book train tickets for various things & then it all went into total meltdown. However, there are engineering works that would have meant us travelling from Fareham to Birmingham via Bristol instead of taking the bus. Also the fares went up by at least £10 between Monday & Tuesday.

I mean it's not as if we don't reach the fourth round of the FA Cup all the time, we'll still have the fifth round to enjoy, then there's always next year.
