Two issues here:

First the minister saying some MAY face charges ... f**k me if I went in town and trashed a place having had a beer I don't think the word MAY would be used!

Secondly, why does the Wardens Union bloke come on saying alcohol played a large part in this, I thought it was his memebers jobs to stop this happening in the first place?

Re point one, absolutely agree - if they're not prosecuted it will be applalling - it's not as if they need to put an efit together for these people THEY ARE ALREADY IN PRISON.

For point 2 - I imagine he would say theat they are insufficiently staffed to deal with these things. I think I've already said in this thread, not regarding Ford, but how on earth can they not stop hard drugs from getting into maximum security prison is always absolutely staggering to me.
