Adam Brett (head of medicine & performance) was one of the hence to - he left in August. I think the club doctor and a physio also left early in the season.

That makes more sense, I thought it was early in the season, but then I found that article published in December. Didn't sound right.

So...

Brett (Head of Medical and Performance) left in August. No idea where he went.

In December 2023 it was reported that Club doctor Vicann During had also left. He only joined in January 2023. Interestingly, During replaced our former club doctor Stephen Lewis who went to Fulham FC. But, unsurprisingly - it looks like he's now club doctor at Chelsea!!!

It was also reported in December that our Performance Manager Will Abbott, had moved to be Director of Performance at Charlton.

Big question is if he left because no one listened to he or if he left because he was not doing a great job. Or some other reason but if he left to pursuit a career in landscape painting we should of heard of it now all quiet instead. I could easily see Roberto in conflicts with the team doctor actually much easier to see than the opposite. But could also see us not being happy with the works of the medics given this injury crisis has been on for a year now. Also when did it happen? Im thkining maybe Pervis walking off after coming on against Ajax could of triggered harsh feelings in some direction

Didn't we rotate quite a lot towards the end of last season? And didn't we sell the two players he'd "Flogged to death" in that position for shitloads of cash?

Not really - I remember going mental at Wembley when Caicedo was dead on his feet after 90minutes and we kept him on the whole game. Looking back RDZ only made 2 subs in that 120 minutes

There's no accounting for the freakish injury list. Agree with the rest of your post tho. Said it before, say it again: the higher the quality of player you sell, the harder it gets to replace them with a ready-made replacement of similar quality. There's also a bit of an age crisis looming in the next couple of years. A fair few of our squad are in their thirties now and nearing the end of their careers at this level. They'll need replacing with, again, experienced ready-made replacements of similar quality. The Kids Are Alright, as it were, but there's a big gap to be bridged there. We live in interesting times. If you think that strategy - selling several premium players at a vast profit, bringing through players on development, invest heavily in a loan /academy pathway and hope 1-2 come good each season and seek to buy players in different cheaper markets (South America, Denmark) or at end of careers (Welbeck, Lallana) rather than peak - is not the right one. Then what do you suggest changes ?
Is it just "buy more ready made replacements - don't sell your best players", and presumably "don't let them get injured".

We're struggling against some really shit teams this season. Those that don't believe we're in for a relegation fight next season need to wake up, quickly.

On that basis then Bournemouth (lost to Luton, drew v Sheff Utd), Man Utd (failed to beat Bournemouth, Fulham, Brentford) , Chelsea (failed to beat Burnley, Sheff Utd and Brentford) , and come to think of it both Wolves and West Ham who also failed to beat Burnley recently are all headed for the drop as well.

Maybe change of training regime early last season could take time to adapt to more intensity etc but we also do sign injury prone players who would not play for us otherwise thinking Welbeck and Lallana no idea what Lamptey was like in Chelsea but possible he was perma injured over there as well like most their players same with Billy.

For the remainder of the season, probably best to just adopt a stance of zen-like acceptance in the face of mid-table mediocrity. It's not going to get much better. It could get considerably worse.
But heigh-ho, there's the Euros to look forward to, then the long slow hopeful build-up to the new season. Summer is coming
