I thought it would only be fair to post something today, so as to shed the myth that I’m devastated we’re fantastic and have been sulking about it.

Why would it be fair to post something? Is your life so sad that you have to post this attention-seeking thread just to remind people of your existence?

I think whatever happens with Gus we can continue to look forward to watching football being played the right way, Bloom isn't a mug and we can trust him to bring in the right personnel should it be needed. Hopefully Gus will leave in good faith with nothing but good feelings for us as a club (and with Bloom), and as he is destined to be a top top manager that can only be a good thing for us going forward post-Poyet. Which I think will happen a lot earlier than people generally expect it.

Good to have WW back, the board hasn't been the same without him.

Now what are you thoughts on the upcoming Saints game? Please tell us you think it's going to be really shit.

Murray – my word. It will be a shame if he leaves, especially if it’s to Palace! I think the vast majority have recognised he’s always had talent, but watching him the last 6 months has been a joy – he’s all over the pitch, he’s scoring goals, he’s clearing corners, he’s an unbelievable footballer – the fact that almost nobody thought he was going to hit 20 a season shows just how much he’s come on in a short space of time under Gus.

Agreed with everything you've said except the bit in bold. I along with many others could see all along that he had it in him to score 20 a season.
