the point was to enjoy moments like these:

<object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wMVTI7-4NqA&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wMVTI7-4NqA&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></embed></object>

and to show our gratitude to Gary Hart, our Withdean legend

Only got back from Derby an hour ago. Stayed there overnight with the parents of some tart who used to be famous.

I had to do my usual Sunday afternoon school run.
Lovely disabled girl (who happens to be a STH with her father) is a border at Bexhill, so she goes in on Sundays.

She was actually a mascot at the Hudds game, and el Abd gave her his medal.

I'd have gone and taken the kids but it's at a ridiculous time. I'll be getting the kids ready for bed in 30 mins

Yes, because young children regularly DIE if they're not tucked in bed by 9pm, once in a blue moon.
Or perhaps they're a bit grouchy the next day, god forbid.

The parade today was BRILLIANT. Anyone who could have gone but didn't is a binner, and their kids missed out.

FACT.

Very poor show from all those who decided to watch Man U v Chelsea instead. What side do you support, again? Honestly, how often in the lifetime of supporting the club are we going to have a season like that one? And some people decided to stay in and watch the telly instead.

Well you missed out, cos it was great. Charlie was very funny and Gus lead the singing to 'We're f**king brilliant'. Amazing scenes, as they say.

I cant believe that anybody would rather watch Man U v Chelsea than go and show their appreciation for their team who obtained the most ever points in the history of the club. I suppose it takes all to make a world.

Why don't people understand that the time wasn't right? It wasn't right for me, either. It will never be right for everyone, if you went good for you. For those of us who didn't, that's our decision to make.

To be honest, I wasn't that fussed today anyway. The celebrations have been going on for weeks!

It is incredible isn't it? And if you really wanted to see the game, it finished at 6pm. Would have been easy enough to watch it in a Brighton pub and still make it to Madeira Drive in time. Pathetic.
