Survived comfortably first season under Lambert until Hughton destroyed us

Am shocked to see he’s even more negative with you boys

Didn’t think it possible

He's only been this negative in the past few games to limp over the line, there has obviously been something going on in the background about formations and style of play since Dan Ashworth came in.

I understand it would have been great vindication and justification for your fanbase's views should we go down, which is looking increasingly unlikely.

Still, even if we did go down you can't amend historical facts. He had us scoring for fun in the Championship with a team on a maximum 15k wage and a maximum transfer fee of 1.7M before Murray and Duffy came in the subsequent season for 2.5M and 4M respectively. No amount of stating our losses (largely down to depreciation on a new stadium, academy costs and promotion bonuses) will change the fact that he is a fantastic 2nd division manager. His accolades in the top tier are still up for debate, even though we survived comfortably and played some decent football in our first season.

Something significant has changed since the turn of the year, and again, you can't ignore the first half of this season. So saying 'told you so' is somewhat inane, considering every manager will eventually stagnate and get the boot.

That all said, congratulations on your promotion. Nothing against Norwich, good away day and I wish the artificial animosity between our fans (just because we have your former manager) would die out.

Complete load of tosh! He has been negative all season and the football this year has been dire. He seems to have lost the dressing room with his turgid tactics. We have stunk league out this year. It has come home to roost since the New Year but we have been dire all season!

Oh how I wish I could share with you the facts behind the signings of RVW and Ellmander and Gary Hooper and the failure to sign Quaglieralla
well I don’t doubt mcnally helped arrange RVW and of course ellmander was basically forced on us to get rid of Morison. Quags was never going to join though surely was he? One of an endless list of foreign talent linked who didn’t want to
come to us.

CH took Norwich to a higher finish than Paul Lambert did in his first season in charge - Norwich wont go anywhere until they remove the ''dead wood'' that run the club. They must have a combined age of 900
. Lambert still got 3 more points and from a team fresh out the championship with not a huge investment.

Stuart Webber runs the club with Daniel Farke. Both young and even you’d have to admit they’ve performed miracles this season.

All water under the bridge and this is not the place to revisit it. I just don't like it when people make comments on something when they are not privy to some of the facts.

On Qualierella - Yes of course he would have come. He wasn't getting regular first team football where he was at that point. Morison was going regardless. Ellmander was a last minute thing because they wouldn't put their hands in their pocket for all the other potential targets.

That's why I say that Norwich won't spend when they come up. The PL is a ''cash cow'' for an outdated ageing Board of Directors to line their pockets.

I have seen the Board Members after matches. They are old. You can quote those 2 all you like but they were put in place by the Board and the Board still call the shots

Wow you are absolutely deluded. Cash cow lol. They’ve lost fortunes ffs. The accounts are transparent. What an odious individual you are.

Will need additions but maybe more frees

We play sensational football so I don’t think we need an overhaul

8 of the last 10 champions have survived so hopefully we wrap that up next week
You won’t be sensational in the PL plus you concede way to many at the moment you will need to address that. You out score teams in the championship won’t happen in the PL.

Did they or did they not withdraw the loan of £1m owing to them in the accounts a few years back ?

Did they or did they not open a restaurant within the stadium and milk it during the PL years and then close it (except for match days) a year or so after they left the PL?

yes I won’t disagree he had you playing entertaining stuff with a decent budget champ side, was the same at Newcastle. But can’t help playing ultra defensive in the prem and that sees problems when the players eventually have enough of it.

. Taking a small loan BACK is using the club as a cash cow?!! Your restaurant point is frankly deranged. Lose the bitterness ffs. The negative stuff on Hughton is way worse on here than I ever saw from Norwich fans so god only knows how you’re coping with that

No actually it is NOT

The Brighton Boards are far more balanced in their views and the points are put across for the most part in a productive manner

Contrast that with Norwich fans throwing missiles at the Manager on the touchline and fans having to be reported to the Police for Racial abuse of their own Manager. There is absolutely no comparison.

Brighton fans are far more respectful.

Really pleased that they and Sheff Utd have got automatic promotion ahead of Leeds, Boro, Villa, Frank Lampards Derby and West Brom.

Tough one to call the play offs, would rather none of them came up. Maybe Leeds just cos Bielsa is great.

Would love Leeds back in the top flight
