If the club hasn’t taken the full allocation that is a strange decision. Norwich usually sells well and it is clear would have sold out if it had reached previous purchase history. Seems like an own goal when they are trying to promote Albion + membership. It would be good to hear a statement from the club on whether or not the full allocation was taken.

100% this. I’m sure it was initially stated that we had an allocation of 2700 and I think we all expected that to be offered to supporters. I too was waiting in anticipation this morning and am disappointed. Far easier to accept if we’d sold all 2700 before it got to all STHs but less so now. A club statement would indeed be very welcome.

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately the number listed for the allocation on the website was incorrect.

We only had just under 2,000 given to us and all of those tickets are on the website to be sold.

Thats bloody annoying, why didn't the club take up its full allocation. Was hoping to get to see this game in the away end for a change. how are fans like me, who are unable to attend games (due to various circumstance) get hold of any tickets for when the Albion play local to me (once every other year in Norwich's case!!!) :annoyed::annoyed:
'Luckily' I will be able to get a ticket in the home end, but its not the same.

I emailed supporter services and had a quick reply which in itself I appreciated. Essentially it says that Norwich gave us just over 2000 tickets - not the 2700 we believed. I am just asking the question COULD we have had 2700

Same with me. Only live 11 miles from Norwich so not worth stumping up for a season ticket I would not be able to use. Will have to call in a favour to get in the home end.

Looks like my wife and me have paid for a weekend in Norwich for sightseeing rather than watching the match. Unless we can get in with the home supporters

I'd suggest regularly logging onto the ticket website to check it more have come on sale!

How? It’s saying home match pack 5 or something is needed.

Think the people most pissed off will be those who had the required points from the get go, but held off so they could get a seat with a mate today, believing there are up to a thousand spots left.

Absolute howler from the club here.

As in post 103 the club have also confirmed to me that the 2700 figure was incorrect and it was only circa 2000 available to us. Shame but not an error on BHA’s part it seems.

It is an error that they reported the 2669 figure themselves in the first place.

That I couldn't get a ticket as a member isn't their fault, but I'll stay angry anyway

Sorry you’re right of course that putting 2700 on the website was BHA’s error - I would have been doubly miffed though if the error had been in not taking more if the option had been there

I believe the 'rules' are a minimum of 10% up to a maximum of 3,000. If we haven't got 2700 then it's because BHA chose not to have them imo

As per Rugrat’s post above, this is down to OUR club, not taking the full allocation in the away section.

The unavailable seats in the rest of H block are almost exactly 600. I think the club statement is carefully worded. Yes, we only received around 2000 - but that is ALL WE ASKED FOR. We declined the full allocation. How else would the club have known that 2669, precisely, was our maximum allocation? The timing of the extra J block sales by Norwich supports this.

Similar situation with me, only an hour away and was looking forward to an away day closer to home.
