the only way gus would even consider selling cms is if we were at least getting our money back and he had at least 2 or really 3 strikers coming in who are as good but more likely better than cms and everyone else we have upfront. IN GUS WE TRUST.

What is CMS actually worth now do we think? With Rhodes going for up to 8m then I'm thinking we might get more than we paid for him - and that's taking CMS poor goal scoring record last season into consideration.

For the moment. Of the 3 that must fall next May, I'd say that this term there is a high chance they will be one of them.

in fairness, if we can get £3.5+ for CMS, that's good business for us and it saves any lost face for Gus - let's be honest, if we intend playing the Barca way, CMS will never be a long terms success so getting someone in who fits the system and also make some profit at the same time on CMS, that's good all around..... in truth I can easily see CMS being a big success at another club.

Agree with nost of that, but there's NO WAY we would sell for less than the £2.5 million we paid for him.

Get £3 - £3.5m for him, add that to the £1.5m for Noone (there's NO WAY we would have sold him for less than they offered us last year - they now have LOADS of money) add the Hall money in and we've currently got about £6.5 m to spend on a striker!
