That was 2 very poor sides. Surely once Lampty came on Veltman is far better CB then either Burn or Duffy especially when no big forward to mark

Got gradually worse as game went on but points a point. Too many errors - ref and VAR pathetically bottles the pen - better team all over. Not too disappointed with a point.

That's odd. According to 99% of the posters on here we're into a New Golden Era under the auspices of Gormless Benny and all his little elves :lolol:

why are you so desperate for a disaster to befall the albion?

is it another attention seeking technique?

Well that was a dull affair all round.

A point is better than nothing though I suppose.

A no score bore draw.

I'm glad I didn't drag my family there to watch that.
Weather= Dull and overcast.
Atmosphere=Dull and overcast (Can't say I blame our good guys in the ground for being subdued).
Football=Dull and overcast. Not even the briefest of sunny spells.

Too many players off their game and the build up was fecking painful. I’d say we got away with that although Krull did make two good saves. The ref was shit for both sides.

I’ll take the point but disappointing performance to me

very poor that. so wasteful in possession and so many mistakes from the back 4/5/6. Normal service resumed up front. Norwich can consider themselves unlucky there - any other team would have done us 3-0 at least.

That was really quite disappointing. Obviously have no right to beat Norwich and Mapuay should have had a penalty and a goal. We didn't look confident going forward and didn't create as many as last season. Centre backs passing was poor and never moved into space with the ball meaning the midfielders had 11 men in front of them by the time they got the ball. Gross and Moder offered virtually nothing going forwards. Maupay really poor. We are over reliant on Trossard to do something. Shame as 3 points were there for the taking. Norwich would have felt, pick 3 centre backs and we could be ok. Maybe catch them on the break. Nearly worked. Burn can't start next games. Good squad player but ponderous to the extreme.

Anyway trying to focus on the fact that we are good enough to beat City next weekend and we won't have to be caring about the bottom 3 results which is real progress.

Norwich saved by the ref and Krul, Albion saved by extremely poor Norwich finishing.

A point is a point.

Good away point.

I know a lot of fans have very short memories (understatement of the century) - but it wasn't long ago we were consistently losing against the bottom sides.

Not today. There are no easy games in the Premier League. Norwich put in a good home performance - and although we had more than one chance to win it - we still have yet another point on the board.

Our performance was decent. Contrary to current belief we are not Man City or Liverpool. So I'm not sure why so many fans are expecting us to be "beating teams like Norwich" away from home.

The match thread is no place for talking sense and being realistic or positive. I’ve just had the misfortune of reading some of it - Jesus wept. It just gives negative posters the place to write one line bitchy rants
