Keep a 50% holding in Norwich, and take a 50% stake in Fulham. Then you’re guaranteed PL football AND promotion from the Championship every season, as your two clubs/investments continuously swop places.

They haven’t splashed the cash and they have won the Championship twice in three years. If TB hadn’t splashed the cash we’d be happy to be in the same situation. Give the guy the tools before you sack him, he’s done a great job imo.

They have a great business model:
Top of the Championship with great attendance £££££
Premiership parachute payments when you go down £££££
Supporters get to see Norwich play the best players/teams in the world ( I include the Albion of course).....Bonus (every other season)
Sell players/promote loan players......Maybe £££££
That with the usual Merchandise, why would you change anything...........you could be Burnley!!!!!

It's a fair question. This is a football forum.

It looks like they are prepared, presently, to yo yo, and hope to build slowly.

The owners can have only so much money from selling recipe books and shouting Letsby Avenue. The supporters seem to be on side.

It may curl up a bit if they carry on as abjectly as they have started, but it is still probably nicer to be a Naarwich fan than a Derby fan.

They spent £60m in the last window (more than us). They sold Buendía for around £30m, but they still shelled out quite a bit, overall. I’m sure their fans expected them to be a lot more competitive this season. But having said that they have had an exceptionally tough opening set of fixtures.

Just carry on. They’re a well run club in an age of states and billionaires. One time they’ll yo-yo and stay up, or they’ll yo-yo and stay down, but what’s the alternative. There is a lot to admire about Norwich. Delia is ok.

This. Being a 'bounce' club ain't the worst thing in the world (as long as you keep bouncing, of course).

Not sure we can be to critical of a club not suffering huge losses or even turning a small profit.

Compared to our huge losses & being bankrolled by our chairman.

Could they perhaps have recruited a bit better ? Have they mismanaged contracts on some players like Cantwell? Yes. But they have their model and it works for them
