Same thing happened a few years ago when we drew Tottenham, the club led everyone to believe that there was plenty of tickets and it would be available to members etc. They then only took minimum amount so everyone who was waiting to go with lower tiered family and friends missed out. It appears similar has happened again, disappointingly.

Don't think it was quite a 'minimum' - we still had close to 6,000 from memory - we just didn't take up the whole 9,000 we were entitled to........
I stand slightly corrected, I do know an awful lot of people missed out assuming we’d taken the full allocation so had waited until it was too late.

Aren't we entitled to 15% (around 4,000 given the capacity of Carrow Road) anyway given it's a cup game? Presumably that comes at no extra cost to the club as it's a competition rule that clubs get a bigger than usual allocation?
For league games I know we have to 'buy the allocation' so to speak and then sell it. What we don't sell comes to a cost for the club. We could definitely take another 500 odd, even with the train issues.

Yes, 15% for FA Cup, 10% or 3,000 for PL
We absolutely don’t have to take the full allocation for either though - we can take what we think will sell. Issue is we have to pay for what we take, whether we sell it or not. This was the concern with the Spurs game a few years ago - we could have taken 9k, but the club didn’t think we’d sell them all.

The decision is not yet final. We can still ask for additional allocation. If the club get emails and phonecalls from people asking for it, then they will make the call to Norwich.
I think its a bit of a shame as extra supply of tickets would be met by demand - but people are unlikely to realise there is any need or point in them making a request of the club.
Simply, someone paid at the club should be more "On The Ball" (pun intended)...

Norwich are already selling in blocks next to the away fans - it is very very unlikely there will be more released.

This will be a very popular fixture for Norwich fans from what I’ve heard and very possibly be a virtual sell out - it‘s still STHs only too - tickets for other supporter members don’t go on sale until 16th.
Given that some fans are (understandably) very vocal about their frustration when Brighton agrees fixtures when the trains aren’t running maybe the Club thought a lot of people wouldn’t want to make the Norwich game on replacement buses from London to Cambridge/Norwich - just a thought

Club have messed this up. Not going to ignore how the balance of financial and fan interest factors has been struck yet again. An extra 1300 Albion fans get the chance to actually go to watch a match and support the team? Oh no, can't possibly prioritise that when there is a very small risk equivalent to a fraction of one player's weekly wage...

They are currently selling to STH's only ( until Monday).
It may be that they don't have STH's in block J so that they can accommodate the extra allocation for away fans for FA Cup games.

Hopefully they’ll release some more tickets in that block E for two reasons a) I won’t have to fraternise with members/purchase history and other riff raff and b) us in their end is a bit of payback for 1983 when the club in their usually puzzling way gave them half the north when the north end of the east would have sufficed.
