Great to see Norwich go up, credit to Paul Lambert and I'm happy for Crofty

Would love for us to get Crofty back but don't think it will happen, and we need to keep hold of Benno!

Unbelievable Cardiff have choked again.
I'd be amazed if Norwich come back in for Bennett, Much bigger fish for them to try hooking now.

It all hinges on whether Paul Lambert stays put, he has history of jumping ship when a bigger club comes in for his services. I'd be more surprised to see Bennett join Norwich than Lambert leaving them.

Elliott very much sounds like he wants to stay here from most of the latest interviews, I'm quietly confident we'll keep him.

I assumed they wanted him to help ensure promotion, hence the pressure to buy him in January - not sure they will still want him now they are in the Prem. Other options now apply.

I'm sorry but that is the most retarded thing I've read on here in quite some time (including all the crap I post!) why on earth do you think Bennett is worth more because he is in a team that won the league (by grinding out results against the lower teams) by your thinking we should be asking 1-2mil for Holroyd no, 500k for batti?

You're not that bright are you? Do you honestly think another half a season being the main creative force in a team that wins it's division isn't going to increase his value then quite frankly you have less commercial sense than my five year old son. And to drag in two squad players to back up your " argument", well it beggars belief. You really have taken over the mantle from Withdean Wanderer and The Complete Badger as NSC's most miserable thickie

Congrats to them, it must feel great to go from league 1 to prem in 2 seasons, but I wonder whether it has happened all to quickly and they'll do a Derby in the premiership next season

Congrats Norwich... thoroughly deserved... Cardiff completely bottled it... as for Benno, he is much better off staying put... he would be nowhere near a start in the Prem, yet...

Will they still want him now there in the Prem?
Indeed. They may have seen him as a 'means to an end', i.e. the sort of player they needed (and could afford at Championship wages) to GET them into the Prem, but now they're there is he a Premiership player? In other words if you were looking to sign new players for your first season in the Prem would Bennet be one of them?

I suppose it might depend on budget. If they're going to be a bit strapped for cash he could be an option for them - but it would be a gamble. He'd be going up two divisions to what he's been used to playing at.

Fair play to Norwich league 1 to the prem in 2 years is a great achievement, I watched the game last night and tbh I thought some of they're style of play was similar to ours in that they like to pass the ball around, They've got full backs that like to get forward, Fast on the counter attack and keep going for 90 mins with a constant belief that they will score. I was also thinking if we could take 3 of they're players ( Whitbread, Crofts and Holt ) and put them in our side we would'nt be too far off being as good as them.

If Norwich can get Bennett for c£1m he would be a decent squad player for them, but I believe he would be a back up player. If I were Norwich,I'd be looking for top Championship/proven Premiership players because, well, they will now have a bigger budget. They have done brilliantly well, and good luck to them and their supporters but I think they have some work to do to survive at the top.

Be interesting to know the genuine thoughts of their manager.

Really hope he stays but i disagree that he's nowhere near a prem start.....i wouldnt have said Jason Puncheon was either till he went to Blackpool and i think Benno is a better player. I do think Norwich need to get some experienced prem players in their team now though to give them a chance.

Point being Blackpool are close to going down... is that what Norwich want? I doubt it...

are you an R-tard? i said IF oxlade chamberlain is worth 10 mill, a CHAMPION who has had a very influential season and has been a key player in a lot of games for the CHAMPIONS has got to be worth at least half of what oxlade chamberlain is worth. (NEITHER ARE WORTH 3 MILLION, but thats football. Torres isnt exactly worth 50 million is he...) Not so retarded now eh f*** tard? holroyd who? batti who? do me a favour love, i'm talking about a player who has actually done something for the club this season not reserve players.

and let me ask you this... would you swap chamberlain for bennett?... if the answer is no then you clearly rate bennett as highly as chamberlain justifying my original post. if the answer is yes HAVE YOU f***ing SEEN HOW GOOD BENNETT HAS BEEN THIS SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plenty of you have said Palace's survival is down to the fact the teams below us were dreadful. I'm not saying it's wrong, but I think the same argument could be used for Norwich.

Take nothing away from their incredible achievement, but they came into The Championship where Middlesbrough were pre-season favourites...says it all!
