NSP is a bit of fun for a smaller audience than NSC, they all seems to be good mates and in difference to NSC they tolerate or ignore each other when things get a bit OTT, instead of having a massive tantrum, however its just not my cup of tea so I don't think I've logged in there for donkey's, a few too many C words before brunch for my constitution!!

The post count argument doesn't really hold true though as there is rarely anyone online over there outside of office hours. NSP is often just a place online that is used to while away the tedious working hours by a small group of likeminded people.

THat Pub thread on here is geekiness at its highest. I'm amazed that the people that contributed most to it aren't reading it back and cringing at just how sad it is.

The one drawback - its pretty dead. 11 threads have had replies on there today, and thats just not enough for my busy mind. But I'm always drawn back. NSP is like an itchy scab - it always needs a quick scratch.

At least when I am layed to rest I will know I have doen something that people talked about. What do they say its better to be talked about than be ignored.

The concept of the virtual pub was a thread where people could actually come in like a pub and talk to anyone else in that thread about whatever they wanted without posting a seperate thread on NSC. This concept appears to have gone completely over the heads of the angry homophobic young men of NSP and it appears to have got them very agitated indeed. Well I say FECKING GROW UP. A tip, if you don't like the thread don't post in it, simple really.

Some people did post a load of utter bollocks and the concept did lose the plot a bit but it was a bit of fun and with 800 posts I assume some people liked it. Whats the fecking problem. I truely apologise to the good people of NSC if I have embarrassed them with this thread but my life in not so sad as to be that bothered about a thread in cyberspace I am glad to say.

I think you'll find that 99% of NSP also post on NSC - and are among the highest-ranking posters as well.

And yes, that 'NSC Arms' thread was internet geekery at its very worst. However it is horses for courses, personally I much prefer the roughhouse NSP approach as opposed to the 'bobble-hats and cucumber sandwiches' feel of places likes of brightonfans.com, and I accept that there are others who feel exactly the opposite.
