Here's the south / southwest corner. And a little bit of my thumb, yesterday.

North Stand West Stand blah blah blah. East Family is where it's at with the continual cry of 'Will you stop mucking about and watch the game, . . . . . !' (Insert son/daughter's name here)

Hats off to the NS they do create most of the atmosphere but I do think it's a shame the banking is not bigger. From the EL end (seats now given to away fans) it does look a bit small.....hardly a Spion Kop.

Agree. I really don't want to moan about the stadium at all, I love it, but (without knowing if there were any reasons why it wan't) I would like to have seen the north a lot bigger.

Thanks Easy. To me the gaps either end of the East Stand are not an issue now. The stand looks so much better and finished with an upper tier. I like the fact our ground has different characteristics!

Totally agree. When completely finished each side, end and corner is different to the others. NW and SW corners going to have a secong tier curving round, east stand with 2 tiers, 3 on west, tier of exec boxes above south, that box above north, on NW corner, what is it anyway? makes a really interesting looking stadium. So many have been built in the last 15 years that are totally symetrical and just dull to look at.

Here are a few shots from today's visit! (they are low-res as still in Dicks Bar and no wi-fi)

Went to the amex today and sat in the West lower for a sandwich. Have to say the East is looking great with 90% of the structure complete. Likewise the corners to the SW and SE all coming together nicely but the North stand now looks very isolated and a little sad if I'm honest. It's not quite meccano sad but does appear to be like your stinky class mate that no one wants to sit next to....maybe thats the idea

The mighty North Stand? twee? ??? TWEE?! You take that BACK!! :tantrum:

Maybe they considered that the type of people that go to tool fairs, not all but probably most, aren't the sort to enjoy the tennis or any other sport. Don't take offence if you are a tool fan, I'm just generalising!!!
No offence taken, I like tools and sport. I just thought if I was planning to sell my tools I would have chosen another weekend.

It's never been about the north stand anyway.

All about the West stand and most notably the upper section!
