Always been a fan of Norman, can anyone tell me the how he become a Brighton fan? I know he was born in London and then moved from pillar to post.

He became a director. His son still runs Wisdom Sports in Haywards Heath.

As already mentioned he had a property in East Chiltington,he also had an ocean going yacht based in Shoreham harbour. His son, Nicky, had one or two sports shops in East Sussex,Great man. I worked in a builders merchants in Hove that supplied a lot of bits for his yacht including baths made to his own colour scheme!.At this time he was the highest paid entertainer in the world!

Definitely lived in West Chiltington, seem to recall that at some point he may have lived in Worthing.

That clip of him on the pitch at the Goldstone was brilliant, I haven't seen that before. The club should try and get hold of the full version, and use some of it on the screens at the Amex?
