Has the club got an add on clause in the contract when we sold him to Cardiff related to England appearances ?

Well I guess my view isn't shared.

I honestly think he'd at least be considered if he kept up this form until the end of the season.

I hope to bounce this thread one day.

Yes. Yes he has. About a 10,000,000 chance shot.

More chance of you or me winning the Tour Down Under than Nooney going to Brazil - and I mean the actual race, not the fantasy competition. Talking of which, need to get on it by tomorrow if you're playing again this season.

I like Nooney but he's not an England player.

Aaah, recall going out the Goldstone for a friendly after Albion signed Potts and Lawro over the summer for significantly differing fees. Recall saying to my Dad that the winger was sooooo much better than the expensive centre half. Thing is that wingers are a bit in and out, whereas class is a little more subtle and permanent.
Agree that the highlights made Noone look great, but overall I honestly feel he is nowhere near international class but will undoubtedly have some great moments in games and good luck to him.
Not top class though.

Wingers is probably the one department that we have decent, not world class, but decent quality and depth within the squad. Noone has just had a decent few games, not become an England player. He simply won't call up.

In fairness, if anyone had floated Jay Rodriguez getting an England cap it'd have the same reaction but lok what happened there.

He has a chance, sure, but it's dependant on a number of factors, namely:

- As you say, maintaining his form until the end of the season;
- Players ahead of him dramatically losing form / getting injured
- England completely ignoring their policy of picking names over form

Sadly, I only think 1 and 2 are realistic at best.
