Of course this may not be true, may not be Brighton, etc. But if it is our bid that has been rejected, some people are going to look very silly again. Hope this is worng and that Brighton aren't going to get egg on their faces again.

Thank god for our chairman, if this is a poker hand we have the Lizard !! The deal will be done.

Lets be frank,we won't get any top quality signings yet because our wage structure is to low end of.Players from plymouth etc is about as good as it gets until we hit falmer.:D

You tell me what quality players you can get for 4-5k a week????

It amazes me that everybody on here knows our wage structure and what Gus and TBs plans for the future are. Is it not posssible that as we , the experts know our wages are too low, that TB and Gus havent spoken about this and decided to invest some money in a couple of players now to ensure promotion and then again in the summer to keep us up and move us forward. I dont know just a suggestion and possibility.

Most of these won't cut the champioship if we go up,most of our players are unknown to most clubs. Many on here are stating quality championship players???

I'm not bothered whether other clubs have heard of them or not as long as they're good enough. From that list I'd say Greer,
Painter, Calderon, Bennett, Dicker, Bridcutt, Murray, Sparrow, and Navarro are all debatably good enough for the championship, lower end at least. I think we need a couple of key signings in key positions (easier said than done) and we'd have a very average Championship team. I don't think it's impossible to get a couple of lads in on the wage structure we have that'll make a real positive difference. But yes, half the names being banded about are crazy!

Hopefully Falmer will see us able to significantly increase the wage budget. As long as it's affordable though! Slow and steady rise for me please, not a gamble that could f*** us financially if it doesn't come off!!

Not necessarily so , players will sign if they know they will get x amount per week playing in the Championship next season.

Our cirrent wage structure would also be based on the income from some 6,000 paying customers at home games. That won't be the case next season.

f*** sake, stop putting about Murray leaving for Swindon. It will never happen, in fact there's more chance of me giving you the money back I owe you :p
