Nooney had a cheeky little grin on his face when a few of us started chanting his name. I could be wrong, but by his demeanour I took it to mean "I'm not going anywhere" 😊

I thought we were the better side too, but the Palace fans seem to think the opposite.

Not trying to start a rumour, but he came on the pitch and clapped the fans and players in his shell suit and puffa jacket, was he saying goodbye.:albion2::albion2::albion2:

The weather is changing and the posts are getting more and more ridiculous day by day.

The window has closed, no business done, you were told as much earlier in the day by the boss and yet a threrad like this still gets started. People must be so bored they want to dream topics up and post total shit. its brilliant!

love it that he is always there travelling to support the team and believe me not every squad member is so keen when either unfit or out of the matchday squad.

an absolute star and a genuine asset on and off the pitch

He as a fan of liverpool, knows all about the merseyside rivalry, however i am not sure he had seen what a Southern Rivalry before, and probably want to see if it met the hype....

Of which it doesnt!!

But it was a text from Noone, confirming Cardiff had failed in their persistent attempts to land the winger, which pleased Poyet the most. The only departure instead was striker Will Hoskins to Sheffield United in another loan deal for the rest of the season.

The Argus understands Cardiff made at least one improved offer for Noone after a bid of about £450,000 for the Liverpudlian, regarded by Albion as insulting, was rejected earlier in the January transfer window. Poyet told The Argus: “It was the most difficult situation we’ve had for a while, more difficult than Benno (Elliott Bennett and Norwich) last January. I’m absolutely delighted he is with us. As you can imagine he is already talking about Liverpool (FA Cup).

“It went to the wire. The last I heard, at two or three o’clock in the afternoon, it was still going on and then afterwards I got a text from Nooney to say it was finished. It’s relief and happiness
also noon then made his own way to smellhurst to support the team so the op is either fishing or hasnt got a clue
