Doesn't look at all good does it?

What to wear? Stripes? Noon Walk Tee-shirt? Withdean plastic poncho?

Forecast isn't getting any better :(

Still, it's all for a worthy cause, shorts & NW t-shirt for me whatever the weather...

Best of luck to everyone else doing this tomorrow

Our numbers will go soggy!!!!!

I've cut my number up into a small square and cut the words out too, then proceeded to sellotape the word Martlets above the number and Noon Walk below it before giving the whole thing a lovely laminate effect sellotape covering...

I am featuring on Blue Peter sometime next week.

Take pity and sponsor one of the NSCer's through one of their links.

3hrs 20mins, very pleased with that, a lovely walk in the driving rain, least it cleared up a bit on the way back!... And only one blister, result!

Well done all!

Soaked through and exhausted, but good fun - and so many Albion fans on the walk too giving me heaps of encouragement along the way, thank you!

And to the anti-stadium bod also on the walk, sorry mate didn't have the energy to argue with you....but look around, the temple is built and yes it can be seen! Get a life.

Bath time now..... oh 4hrs 15mins, but lots of chocolate digested at Saltdean!

We arrived at the start just as everyone was leaving and unfortunately we just never managed to catch up. After walking into the driving rain on the undercliff walk from the marina, I am sorry to say that at Ovingdean we abandoned, because we simply couldn't face it any more.

It is truly amazing how being part of a big group spurs you on and walking on your own (my son and I) is so dispiriting. I have done the London to Brighton bike ride in the past and thought this then. No way could I do that on my own but in a group it was different.

We were so wet and cold at Ovingdean we threw the towel in (oh for a towel) and were both very disappointed to do so. I've done that walk for fun on a number of occasions, but today that weather beat us. f***ing awful.

Complete respect the heroes who completed it.

Humble in your presence guys.

main point for next year - NEVER wear jeans when your going to get soaked through. The last 30mins it felt like I was carrying another few kilos on my legs!
