I'd hold onto the season ticket...

-
- You will be able to re-sell your tickets when you can't use them, particularly because:
a) Your seat will be in a better position than the match-by-match tickets
b) You can sell for more cheaply than the club, if you wish, due to the discount you got by way of buying a season ticket

So how would you re-sell the Credit style season ticket exactly? we don't get a book of paper tickets anymore.

A Match Day ticket is nearly double the price of your season ticket price per game. Plus a ST cuts out all the worry and hassle of chasing tickets etc.

Stick with your Season ticket:thumbsup:

Will probably be easier once they extra seats go in
If extra seats go in it should be a piece of cake. I'm not sure what the capacity would be (first increase) but I doubt we'll sell out that often (subject to division and performances).

:moo: The ST prices last season were announced when we were a league one team, the match day prices were announced when we were a championship side. Maybe there won't be such a disparity next season ???

The ticket office will issue paper replacements for any given match on request. Sometimes they charge £3 and sometimes they don't.

Regardless it is quick and painless.

And if the recipient is on the database, they will post it directly to them.

Have you had trouble selling on your ticket when you haven't been able to go?

I got an ST for my eldest lad even though he is away at Uni for much of the season, and it has been very simple offloading the spare tickets, either to friends or via NSC.
I would stick with the ST if I were you.

I think I'm right in saying that every single ticket offered on the NSC TX has been snapped up - even those offered at 2pm on a Saturday.

The demand to get into the Amex is very high - it's a shame that there's nearly 2000 empty (but sold) seats for every home game.

Not the real one
.

This is why I didn't get a ST. I can only make 50% of matches, but unlike some of those 2000 I decided to pay match by match. I have got to every match I have wanted. Also I didn't want to share it with a mate, because I like going with my mates, so we all decided match by match. We choose our seats and never have to sit next to the same people. I'm on the ST waiting list but if the extra seats go in and we don't go up, i'm not going to get a ST, as getting tickets should get even easier.

I'd hold onto the season ticket...

- You know you WILL get to the games you can reach.
- Your seat is (hopefully) in your preferred seating location not somewhere random.
- You'll retain a better position in the loyalty point pyramid.
- You will be able to re-sell your tickets when you can't use them, particularly because:
a) Your seat will be in a better position than the match-by-match tickets
b) You can sell for more cheaply than the club, if you wish, due to the discount you got by way of buying a season ticket

This.

Also, nobody seems to have asked the obvious question.

Exactly how many games have you missed? My season cost an equivalent of £20 per game for WSU. Based on matchday price of £32 (inc booking fee), I could afford to miss 8 games. Couple that with the fact that surely you have mates that would go and if you charged them the £20 they save and you keep your season.

How much are the season tickets? does price vary depending on the seating?

Has anything more been said about photo id on the season tickets?

When I bought mine, I was told that it would be eay to pass around this year, but in future years it would probably have some photo / biometric id on it.

Sounds unlikely, but could make it more difficult to share.
