I've just given him a follow. I'll be disappointed, though, if I'm not blocked by this time next week.
He is currently saying he won't post until they win the league. I'm betting, He will be on before 18:00 tomorrow.
He doesn't like haters

There was an interesting explanation on Wikipedia a couple of days ago, although it's been taken down now.
I don't know if anyone decided to follow him on twitter as a result of this thread, but he is simply baffling beyond parody.

I had a quick look at his Twitter account and thought, no I'm not following this. Just a look at me type, he is just crying out for attention.
He had a proper flounce on there about a week or so ago and said he wasn't posting on there till they won the league, I see that went well, next he's gonna be posting about Coon cheese
It's an open goal to wind him up on Twitter, maybe that's why I'm steering well clear
Exactly
Don't know if I mentioned it on here, someone on the non league forum asked "who [as a non league fan] wouldn't want to be in Billericays shoes?"
erm....
This Tamplin guy is on Twitter, and appears to be a sort of low budget Essex version of Donald Trump: reacts terribly to criticism, loves to flash the cash & give it the big I Am, and is similarly orange in colour.
An absolute weapon: all of non-league will despise him by the time he's finished. He makes out he's doing it for the people of Billericay, but its transparently nothing but a vanity project for his enormous ego.
