It's an area where all the problem families were moved to from the early 60's to the 70's

In the 80's it was dreadful and most of the 90's

Like Manor Farm!!! And some parts of Hangleton, it still is now.

yeah didnt do my homework but hey ho it was way out of my hands....just need a heads up

If your daughter can work out when the dustmen come and what day to put the recycling out that will be a start.
When going into town at 11pm if she could whisper it would be good.
The area is full of students so any problems are down to them not being savvy in how to behave.

Of the twenty houses immediately around me, ten are student accommodation.
To be fair most of them are ok.
Although when six of them pile out of a taxi at 4am it can be tedious

I lived there (no 48) from 1957 to 1968 and it was a lovely area. Ironically Mr Elliott who lived at no 52 was an ex Albion player from the 1930s.
