The market for has grown so much recently that I find it hard to find a bad alternative to the alcoholic beer.
I do like a Guinness 0 in a pub as I can have that and not be hassled over my non alcoholic choice of drink.

I was in a tiny pub in Wells last night and they had 8 no/lo options. The two I tasted, from a brewery in Bath, were gorgeous.

I actually quite like the Corona one. Which is odd as I don’t really like Corona. I think it tastes very similar to actual Corona, which although I don’t really like because it just tastes like weak tasteless piss, it means the non alcoholic version at least tastes like an alcoholic one. Even if the alcoholic one doesn’t taste very nice.

I’m not sure if that makes sense or not.

Outside of your specialist or craft 0% stuff, I'd totally agree that you should always go for the 0% version of the worst normal beer available.

Had one recently? I had something or other a few months ago and honestly couldn’t taste the difference, they simulate the hoppiness and everything nowadays. It’s come a long way since Caliber which was piss.
Haha, yes Kaliber was pretty grim. I remember when I worked for Bass many years ago and we launched Barbican, which I believe was the first non alcoholic beer generally available. It was grim and a large splash of lemonade was needed to help the strange brown liquid down one’s unfortunate throat!😆
Non alcoholic beers have come a long way since those far offf days, thank heavens. I had one or two pints of draught Lucky Saint not long ago and found it to be pretty palatable.

I have decided* to stop drinking but I'm really missing having a beer or two now and then. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for a tasty but piss weak beer? I used to drink lagers or ciders mostly but could appreciate a nice brown or amber ale. Or an IPA or a stout. Or a nice porter or a weisse beer. Or a Trappist beer. You know the sort of thing?

*my doctor and my wife have decided for me
Just drink Diet Pepsi...
