How can I put this politely? I understand how 'whatboutism' usually works: I say your guy is bad and you say 'but whatabout your guy?'. The fact that nobody who as ever won this prize has ever created lasting world peace no more allows you to posit that Trump is equivalent to (or better) than Obama than it allows you to state that shit is the same a sugar (try a spoonful of each in your tea if you want to test this in a real world setting).
