It's grim oop north
About time LuaLua got his place back to be honest. great chance for Murphy to strut his stuff up top with Hemed and Kaz/knocky on the wings..... Dale and the King centre mid - what a flippin' team...!

Imagine Wilson will start. Frustrating considering how lacklustre he appears of late.

I sort of agree, although he comes alive in the 18 yard box... his run on sat for the terrible murphy cross was electric shame he doesn't show that commitment outside the area.

I don't think he can. I believe he knows he has to conserve what energy he does have for when it can make a difference.

I just don't think Wilson is fit. There's been various whispers of glandular fever or similar, and I can well believe it. He arrived as a young and eager striker with bundles of energy and pace to burn. Now, he has to burst a lung to keep up with play and he looks absolutely shattered within a few minutes.

I can't see that he has 90 minutes in him.
That was my assumption, as I think he's a quality player... but the "he's shit" brigade seems to shout the loudest.

Every time Wilson was being BERATED by the knowledgeable fans for not running around and chasing lost causes, I made a point of looking at Hughton who was all of 10 yards from him.

He didn't seem angry at Wilson despite EVERYONE in the stadium being aware that the player was apparently doing the wrong thing...........

Im sure we were, just wished it had happened, probably Eddie Howe just being an arse.

To be fair on Eddie Howe, Murray is part of their 25 man squad, and, although 'Muff are more or less safe, every league position is worth an extra £1.2m. So it's not unreasonable that he'd want a full choice from his back up forwards if anyone got injured or suspended.

He is still an arse though.

I agree. Going forward he is quality but defending is not his strong point, but if that's because he's not fit for whatever reason that would make sense

Ha. This one again.
He did play full 90 against Reading 2 games ago.

They shout loudly about Wilson, Skalak and Towell.

Seem to have stopped shouting about Murphy and Hemed though.

I'm not sure why I don't remember much about that game. I blame The Cyclist though.

Regardless of that, based on what I saw with my only-had-two-pints eyes on Saturday, he didn't have 90 minutes him in.

I've heard those whispers too

Aside from 2-3 speculative posts on here (which i've seen as well) simply guessing at reasons for his mixed form/performances over the season, have you heard them anywhere else. ?

There were also reports on here that he was throwing up at the side of the pitch again on Saturday. Something's clearly not right, else how can a young lad get drained of energy so quickly?

Something doesn't add up though. Wilson has looked out on his feet in a number of games so something isn't right with his fitness. If he was a "bad trainer" then I'm sure CH would have sent him back because fitness is key to our improvement. Look at how much running Kayal and Stephens have done. Look at the work 35 year old Bruno gets through or the aging Rosenior. Stockdale has got better in goal the more miles he's put in on the road. Yet, in Wilson, one of the youngest of the lot, we're carrying a virtual passenger. CH seems happy (or resigned) with it and there was no sign of a recall when Man U were down to Rashford.

I saw, with my very own eyes, him being sick on the pitch verses Burnley. Just after he came on, right in front of the east stand 35 yards from goal.

OMG......Manu.wins us promotion !!!!!

Nah, Skalak. I imagine he's going to go mental when he gets his first goal for us; if it's a potential promotion clincher, I actually think that he'll explode.
