No yellow cards yesterday

Besides the important three points I thought we were much more disciplined in not collecting any more yellow cards.
Not sure if this is the first game this season without any but it would be good if were not top of the yellow card league and risk more suspensions to add to the injuries.

Big screen showed Tanno got a card. Must admit I didnt recall seeing it given, unless he received it when he got flattened for going in with his foot high

Tanno didn't get booked. they put it up momentarily by mistake - it was meant for one of theirs.

Tanno was wearing 27 on his shirt and did have a yellow card on the screen but a few moments later it was removed and put by Barnsley's 27 (Gray)

I didn't at all, as half of the yellows have been down to the referees' ineptitude. When you consider how dirty some sides like Portsmouth have been, it's a joke that we've had so many yellows.

The most yellow cards in the division in fact.

When you consider that we have made four less fouls than Palace but have FIFTEEN more yellow cards, it would seem fair to say we have been harshly treated this season.

Here is the same table sorted by yellow cards rather than fouls, it gives the impression that we are the dirtiest team in the league which it is fair to say we are not.

My only complaint with the ref yesterday is he seemed to be a bit picky as to where free kicks and throws were taken from etc. Other than that, top show!

I agree whole heartedly. I've never really understood why some refs are so picky with this, if it is in your own half you should be allowed to take it from anywhere back of where the foul was made.

One of my very first comments on leaving the ground. Very calm and composed in our tackling yesterday, as opposed to our thuggish opposition. Interesting that there No. 17 who looked like a tank, was an absolute wimp, but there albino No. 11 was probably the most ferocious (his challenge on Noone was appalling - should have been a red).

I absolutely loved the fact that Pisswater's 3rd twattish challenge on Calderon (followed up by some verbal abuse from him towards our delightful Spaniard) resulted in our 1st goal. Couldn't have happened to a nicer chap :)

Hope it continues as we've got one of the worst disciplinary records in the Football League

Except when Calde was shoved into touch which led to the free kick for the 1st goal. Shove was right on the touchline, yet Nooney took the freekick about 8-9 yards
in from the touchline.
Ref was so busy booking Drinkwater that he didnt push it back to the line, and the lino nearby didnt want to know.

I find we are quite cynical in our fouling and often do it in order to stop an attack. So while we may not foul as often as other teams our players pick their moments.

Agree he was our best ref this season, but he did miss a Noone penalty shout. Was clearly clipped in the area. I was in south stand and it was clear to see from there. Still..... Who cares. We won
