Seagull Travel has been sold out for ages from Eastbourne and much of the east side of East Sussex. Areas to the west are either better served by ST or perhaps fewer fans that side want to use them. I left it too late to book ST from Eastbourne and it seems unlikely that my for-sale match ticket will ever see the exchange so thank you, rail unions. Yet another £25 or so you c***s have cost me.
Do you have access to a motorised vehicle?

Lots of ppl are responsible for the safety of others...what about a cleaner in a hospital (virus spread diseases etc)? Just one example, there are many.

Good point. Hospital cleaners definitely need a pay rise too. 👍

Does anyone know, if I'm trying to get to the game from Chichester, is the best way to get the bus to Bognor and seagulls travel coach from there?

They have pick-ups at both Bognor and Midhurst available currently:

I guess the main concern would be the return journey - will there be a bus for the last leg to get you home?

Thanks, there are late buses from Bognor, but unfortunately apparently the coach from there has now sold out. Hoping maybe through cancellations more seats come up

If you haven't already, give ST a call as they will usually keep a note of any cancellations and let you know.

Live on Amazon Prime for anyone who can't face the lack of trains.
That’s NOT the spirit I’m afraid - get there, bums in seats, support the lads 👍

I couldn't get out of a meeting in Oxfordshire tomorrow. It finishes at 3pm just outside Oxford. What odds am I getting for getting back in time?

Sussex but not by the sea
This strike is an ASLEF gig.
Right. That’s it for me. I supported this strike in support of the aux staff and ticket office closures and IMO the RMT were justified in their actions and as a regular train user I felt I had to suck it up. However, train drivers, f***ing seriously? Unless I’ve completely missed the point it is simply over pay? These people are on over £60k pa as it is, over double what a nurse makes, plus tons of holiday and overtime. Get in the bin. Paddington stare now from me when they pull into platforms.

Drivers want a second person on their trains, which used to be called a guard. The ROCs are still trying to do away with them.
Do you begrudge pilots their pay? Train drivers are responsible for as many lives.
