Good as we don't need one and Noone needs to start more games

i feel we hav other options like putting bennett or noone behind murray or play him and sandaza

Christ that's a good point, have you emailed Gus? Says in today's Argus he was going to play Brezovan up top and get Murray to drive the bus, so I imagine he'd like your expert input.

When will people realise that Noone isnt a striker and good as he is he will not be able to fill the void left by having nobody to play alongside Murray. Our only hope is that Adgestein comes of age and shows his metal.

How is Agdestein our only hope? What a bizarre comment. We will start with Murray and Sandaza at the weekend, I imagine. Even ignoring Sandaza, we did perfectly well with 4-5-1 last season too. We are top of the league by ten points and Wood and Barnes should be back for Tuesday. Hardly the end of the world, is it?

I think that Murray has had a terrific season and has played his heart out and it is begining to show as he looked tired against Notts County so cannot be expected to play the loan striker too often in a 4-5-1 formation. Nobody kows how long Barnes is out for and are hoping he will not be out for too long. As I pointed out Noone is definitely not a striker. I am not convinced that Sandaza can produce the goods over a long period in a game so we come back to Adgestein an unknown quantity.

Well he almost certainly won't start with Agdestein on Saturday so how he does is largely irrelevant. I am not saying that Noone is a striker but we get goals from other areas so the pressure is not all on Murray to score. As for Barnes, Poyet is quoted on the website as saying he may be availble for Saturday so I would suggest that is a pretty good indication that he will be back soon.

I'm still confident we can deliver the goods. I honestly think that Sandaza and Adgestein will be able to fill in the role for the time being. Let's not forget that Murray's scored the most anyway so whilst losing Barnes is a loss, it's not a disaster.

When we had Zamora banging them in for us and little else coming from the rest of the team then I was worried about injuries; the way it stands at the moment they're coming from all over the field so losing one striker isn't brown trousers time.

I would have liked to see a loan striker come in just in case Murray gets injured or suspended, Barnes' injury is taking longer to repair than though or Wood is badly jet lagged. Also promotion will be worth a bucket load of cash to the club.

That said we don't know the circumstances as to why Gus couldn't get a loanee and it's pointless signing a striker if he isn't the right player for us.

It's hopefully only one game and we have got a cushion at the top.

Didn't expect it. No one is going to be 'loan to buying' the calibre of player that we would need to improve on what we have.
