Can't compete with Bournemouth in terms of wages then, can't compete with Burnley. Or wont. Looks like we'll be in the Championship for a long time then which is fine but only a matter of time until the new supporters drift away.

Do you think with the current players we have we can't compete or challenge then?, I think we are doing more than ok to keep all fans interested.

Im really not bothered about not getting Grabban. Just want to see someone decent sign in the next few weeks. Anyway as mentiined elsewhere we have Ulloa with Obika on the bench and CMS back in training so its not crisis time.

Please explain.

Why should we pay over the odds for a player who hasnt exactly set the league alight ? Also why should we have offered a ridiculous amount when he clearly had no intention of joining us ?

Please can you tell me why we have only one fit striker and some lower league journeyman on loan when the aim was to make the playoffs again.

NSC could become unbearable tonight.

Win and people who previously were looking forward to Grabban, and those who were indifferent will be gloating about how we don't need anyone (especially someone who was only after money, despite no one knowing the details of negotiations) to the point anyone who highlights how thin the squad is, and how one result doesn't mean anything will be shouted down and deemed a hater of the board/club/particular senior manager.

Lose and people will bemoan the thin squad and how we have lost so many and not brought in anyone of note, and how the season is over, and people who try to add perspective highlighting it is just one match, the window isn't closed yet, etc. won't be able to put their point across without calling anyone showing any concern a 'bedwetter', or talking like the player was asking for the sort of money that would bankrupt the club, despite not knowing the details of negotiations.

I picked up from OG's press conference that he didn't want to play second fiddle to Ulloa

Just a normal match-day on NSC then

Better put the beers in the fridge and get the Pringles ready then

Starting a revolution from my bed
It's a bit like going on a few dates with a bird who's not happy with her boyfriend; all seems to be going well between you two and you're just about to phuck her, then her current boyfriend gives her a call and tells her he's had a penis enlargement spent with money from his big pay-rise that he's gonna spend on her. What a slut.

We can compete, we are just being very careful and doing what other clubs should be doing and spending their money wisely.

We've dodged a bullet.
I don't see how. I think he'd have been a good replacement for Barnes.

So a player valued at 1.1M doesn't fit our wage structure, but a player valued at 2M does?
Says who? Nobody is saying that we offered Grabban as much as our pay structure allows - what's more plausible is that we offered him as much as we were prepared to offer him, and he's decided he'd rather stay where he is. At least he's staying where he is, rather than going somewhere crap like QPR.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
I thought the whole point of selling Barnes was to replace him with somebody better. Is Grabban better?
