Can't compete with Bournemouth in terms of wages then, can't compete with Burnley. Or wont. Looks like we'll be in the Championship for a long time then which is fine but only a matter of time until the new supporters drift away.
Just dissapointed with our distinct lack of ambition on the pitch.
Please explain.
Why should we pay over the odds for a player who hasnt exactly set the league alight ? Also why should we have offered a ridiculous amount when he clearly had no intention of joining us ?

NSC could become unbearable tonight.
Win and people who previously were looking forward to Grabban, and those who were indifferent will be gloating about how we don't need anyone to the point anyone who highlights how thin the squad is, and how one result doesn't mean anything will be shouted down and deemed a hater of the board/club/particular senior manager.
Lose and people will bemoan the thin squad and how we have lost so many and not brought in anyone of note, and how the season is over, and people who try to add perspective highlighting it is just one match, the window isn't closed yet, etc. won't be able to put their point across without calling anyone showing any concern a 'bedwetter'.

Please can you tell me why we have only one fit striker and some lower league journeyman on loan when the aim was to make the playoffs again.

I don't see how. I think he'd have been a good replacement for Barnes.We've dodged a bullet.
Says who? Nobody is saying that we offered Grabban as much as our pay structure allows - what's more plausible is that we offered him as much as we were prepared to offer him, and he's decided he'd rather stay where he is. At least he's staying where he is, rather than going somewhere crap like QPR.So a player valued at 1.1M doesn't fit our wage structure, but a player valued at 2M does?
Nadgers.
Good. That was a lot of money for an average player.
Re-signing at Bournemouth - Ambitious sort then
