but sometimes my favourite is "Oh Mercy"

Another favorite along with Time out of Mind and Slow Train coming!!

I really really like Three Imaginary Boys and Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me although the popular choices seem to be Disintegration and Head On The Door.

I'd also vote for Piper At The Gates of Dawn.

Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is right up there for me. Three imaginary Boys is also brilliant. My favourite depends on my mood.

Although having said that Disintegrations spends more time on my turntable than other cure albums.

Head on the door will be my next Vinyl cure purchase I think.

Off topic, I have been enjoying Wish and Bloodflowers much more recently.

Regarded by whom?

Paul’s Boutique is easily my favourite Beastie Boys album. Many of their fans would agree but the world at large loved Licence to Ill. Ditto with the Mondays and Bummed versus Pills n Thrills

I was going to mention Bummed

the irony with the Beastie boys is that everything that followed Licence to Ill was better. Having just read their book, they would certainly agree too.

Check your Head is criminally underrated too.

I think the problem with this idea is that many bands were seen to have 'sold out' once they made a record the appealed to the masses.
