From the repeated replays on MOTD, it looked as though as Palhiñha came in from the side, his arm was going up to balance himself and simultaneously Groß's head was coming down. From some angles (Inc, presumably the ref, lino, your players and VARs) didn't think it was a foul at the time. Admittedly the angle retweeted constantly on Twitter by some of your fans does make it look bad.
He did come in from the side and his arm was going up to meet gross neck (not head )actually , your manager blaming the weather was far much funnier , think that BHA should ask Webb for the VAR HQ recording of the incident ....

Indeed. He might as well had said rhubarb rhubarb for good his interview was. He'd have been squealing like a stuck pig if it was the other way round, prick.

You shouldn’t of posted that.
Ah, someone to keep me company in Argus Comments. Although I fear, despite you're strong opinions, you would be a little conciliatory.

Couple of points for you.........has your club thought about entering the
Oscars for acting ? Lost count of how many of your players reacted like being shot........even your 'keeper went down with cramp !
Also the chant "Here For The Fulham" after the attendance was announced..........................no comment !

"VAR review: As the referee didn't see this incident clearly, the VAR, Peter Bankes, is making a judgement on whether the challenge reached the threshold for a red-card intervention.

Palhinha is fortunate because he catches Groß in the face and there does appear to be some kind of movement, but he escapes sanction because there was no definitive swinging motion or deliberate act. That he caught Groß with his upper arm rather than his elbow would also have been factored into the VAR's decision.

A yellow card on-field would have been the better outcome, but the VAR cannot relay this to Salisbury."

I agree that it was the upper arm and not the elbow, which is just as well, as had it been the elbow then we could have been looking at a really serious injury, as it was definitely a 'definitive swinging motion and deliberate act'!

How can they possibly not see that on replay? In real time, yes, it's hard to see, but on replay it's as clear as day.

Cramp for a keeper is an absolute joke…..same theatrics as last game against them at the Amex

It’s probably best not to give up the day job for the comedy circuit just yet 😏

This is worse than when Senator Agsby claimed that he had the rare blood disorder ‘Prestadidwicks Congena' to excuse why he splashed those poor people on that fateful day many years ago.

Yeah, he got away with one there. As I said earlier, it perhaps evens up the the yellow he got for cleanly tackling Lamptey last season and Mitoma getting away with almost garroting Harry Wilson in about the 62nd minute, so it's all square innit?
As for the singing of 'You're only here for the Fulham', it was in jest - we had our tongues firmly in our cheeks, although it seems the last 2 seasons have changed some of the general goodwill towards us from some Albion fans.

As for playacting, it's been a feature this season that opponents go down as if shot when they get anywhere near Palhiñha, including yesterday. I don't approve of it, so it was doubly nice to see Palhiñha pulling Pereira up off the ground when got a boot in the chest, and some of your fans applauding it.

You will be unsurprised and delighted to know Palhiñha was voted our Man of the Match. You can watch his highlights here.

Oh come on. It was so obviously deliberate. It's just embarrassing that they say that.
