. You can't knock Lewis '32 overtakes in 4 races' Hamilton and then praise the racing of those benefiting from luck.

I have never knocked Hamilton's spirit and overtaking, only his red mist and strategies. My favourite driver by a margin but not the Champion in waiting or exile that you would have us believe. He is too flawed but is the most exciting driver since Mansell.

Any 'sport' where people who are in a fight for something and are then told to not try their hardest is a f***ing JOKE.

End of thread.

Schumacher took Alonso on the last corner..:lolol:

Illegally, by the looks of it

FIA regs
40.15 If the race ends whilst the safety car is deployed it will enter the pit lane at the end of the last lap and the cars will take the chequered flag as normal without overtaking

BAN Schumacher

That would only happen if a team is content with their position. In football, if you are 5-0 up then the manager will probably bring players off to rest them and settle for what they have. Is football a f***ing joke?

Er, not quite sure how relevent that is... In football you would have the maximum points wrapped up, in Fraud1 a driver could lose a world title by 1 point because he was told to settle for 8th instead of push for 7th in a race?... But you are right anyway, football is a lot more pathetic now than when it was played properly in the late 80s and early 90s...

Indeed, although the commentators seemed to think there has been a change of regulations and that it wasn't illegal.

The rule I quoted is the rule change for this year. Therefore, illegal pass.

Now Ross Brawn has come on with printouts saying that the safety car had already been called in that lap and the track was clear, therefore they were free to resume racing.

BAN them all

Set up for a good race with the Mclaren's splitting the Red Bulls. Alonso has gone to Ferrari at the wrong time, the car looks to be a dog, much like last season.

Rubbish. The car is in no way a dog, it just isn't quite on par with McLaren and like most teams is miles away from the bulls. I rate Alonso but the past few races he has driven quite poorly in the qualifiers. The car ain't a dog but I guess if you were comparing it to the bulls then it is.

I was going to say earlier, I've been very impressed by Renault as well, they have done a sterling job.
